About the game

Road Train is a snake-like isometric game where you must pilot an unstoppable truck inspired by Australian Road train, collect trailers, gather crates and generate cash by chaining them and create combos. Simple to learn, hard to master, welcome Truckies !

Gameplay

💰 Scoring System

• Crate Combos: Each crate increases your multiplier (+1 per crate)
• Drifting: Hold a drift to gain +0.5 bonus per second
• Bonus Trailers: Special trailers offer ×1.5 multiplier (cumulative)
• Malus Trailers: they apply ×0.5 multiplier (that's nice to buy fuel in discount)
• Fuel Management: Each fuel tank costs $500 and refills 500L

🕹️ Controls (Keyboard / Gamepad)

• Turn Left: Q / Left Joystick
• Turn Right: D / Right Joystick
• Drift: SPACE + direction / Bottom button + direction
• Counter-steer: Turn while drifting
• Horn: F / Left button

Game Rules

Starting Out

• You start with $1000 and 500L of fuel
• Your truck consumes ~1 fuel tank every 15 seconds
• Max capacity: 2000L of fuel
• Game Over if you crash or run out of fuel

Platform

• Operating Systems: Windows, Linux, macOS
• Language: C# with Raylib
• Controllers: Keyboard + Mouse + Gamepads (PS5/similar)
• Resolution: Responsive (tested 1400×900 minimum)
• Accessibility: Colorblind and high-contrast mode
• The Game is not yet signed by a certificate
